RFID stands for radio frequency identification, a technology that uses RFID tags, which act as responders that don't require direct contact or line-of-sight scanning. Companies are using RFID in an effort to improve bar-code technology to track, locate and secure items in the supply chain, and to help with anti-counterfeiting measures and security. The role of RFID Project Manager will be part of the BSG Manufacturing, Application Solution Management (ASM) team. The ASM team is responsible for business development, roll-in, roll-out and product definition. A major responsibility of the ASM team is to provide product and technology related services to the various industry business units, the field organization, as well as other BSG's and select customers. Although very market oriented, the ASM team is supporting innovation by driving selected strategic topics to assess new ideas and technologies. One of those strategic topics is RFID (Radio Frequency Identification).

 

RFID Jobs Responsibilities: In the role of RFID Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating RFID activities across various organizations and functions; most notably development and field enablement.

Details: an experience RFID Specialist to design & deploy next generation RFID hardware solutions. Ideally you will have 2 years + experience of circuit-level design of UHF based RF-ID hardware solutions, with an emphasis on Passive Tags. You will play a pivotal role in the analysis, design & implementation of bespoke solutions. Essential is a strong systems understanding coupled with a desire to create innovative products based around UHF frequencies.

Position Requirements for RFID Jobs:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or Technology, MBA desired
  • Minimum of 7 years experience covering technology sales, channel management, solution selling, and product development and marketing
  • Experience with team management in areas such as sales, marketing, technical support, customer care, and engineering
  • Understand business segment and economic drivers related to the retail supply chain, including WMS / ERP system providers, retailers, manufacturers, 3PLs, and packaging suppliers
  • Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, training, and excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

RFID Business Development:

 

Capabilities and responsibilities for these RFID Jobs include the following:

  • Understand complex technology solution sales agreements
  • Knowledge of the corporate, divisional, and business unit business models and financial goals
  • Gather and analyze financial, inventory and sales data and present observations in weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports
  • Provide actionable insights into sales performance and product / service profitability
  • Create and update financial models and performance reports
  • Establish goals and assess performance for product selling performance, inventory management, account service and product development operational efficiency
  • Assist senior management in developing and implementing processes and procedures

 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or Technology, MBA desired
  • Minimum 7 years experience in analytical positions, including financial analyses, preferably with contract management of technology development and deployment
  • Possess strong interpersonal, presentation, training and excellent written and verbal communication skills
