RFID Door Lock

With the growing concerns for safety nowadays there are many types of RFID Door Locks available in the market differing in cost, functionality and features. For example, ELECTRO-Com has recently released a new range of electronic RFID Door Locks 'e-lock'.

E-lock electronic radio frequency identification RFID Door Locks provide cost-effective, secure access control for stand-alone single door installations. No wiring is necessary. The lock is constructed of heavy duty zinc alloy, is durable and is available in two stylish models, e-lock 002 and e-lock 009.

With easy installation, user-friendly operation, low maintenance and high security, the e-lock RFID Door Locks are suitable for residential and commercial applications in apartments, town houses, motels and offices. E-lock RFID Door Locks 009 are specifically designed for outdoor installations and is resistant to weather conditions. E-lock 009 is suitable for all kinds of doors, including glass doors.

Authorized personnel using the master key-tag can add new keys to the system. RFID Door Locks can be custom programmed to provide multi-level master keying. Lost or unauthorized keys can be easily de-registered to guard against fraudulent access. The system works via a 134.2KHz proximity RFID link. The key tag is equipped with a small RF transponder that has a factory programmed unique 64 bit ID that cannot be duplicated. The battery operated proximity reader allows key tags to activate the lock from close distance within 25mm.

RFID Door Lock is safer than other locks and also more convenient than others. RFID Door Lock is mainly used in entrance control system of many people such as company. However, it is not only suitable in high security application, but also receiver part is fixed, expensive and supplied power from power line. One of reason is to design a RFID Door Lock that simply substitute to a populary door lock, without any change to door and frame.
